Background & Bio

I'm a graphic designer, photographer and web developer based out of Bellingham WA. I graduated in 2012 from the Graphic Design department at Western Washington University. Since graduating, I've worked on projects across a broad industry spectrum ranging from restaurant / food service marketing and design to full stack wordpress core development. My skill set includes Brand Identity Design, Web & Mobile Interface Design, Digital & Print Advertising, eCommerce, Apparel & Merchandise, Front/Back End Web Developer, Product Design / CAD, Concept Sketching & Rendering and Social Media Marketing. I'm a very passionate photographer and videographer and I enjoy working these hobbies into my extracurricular sporting hobbies. Outside of work I am an avid mountain biker, cyclist, skier, runner, tennis player and chef.

I co-founded 1123 Productions to offer web based promotional stories, documentaries, sports action films and graphical/typographic animation. Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator and Audition became my tools for showcasing these stories. Along side my video production work, I have worked for over 5 years as a visual designer, illustrator and UI/UX designer at RedRokk, a digital creative agency developing eCommerce marketing campaigns for Bellingham and Seattle based brands. In addition to my user experience and graphic design, I am a proficient front end developer with experience across multiple software frameworks, CMS's and literacy in hosting, database, and DNS architecture. I am a passionate travel photographer with extensive experience in outdoor, studio & portrait photography. I take pride in my proficiency and in depth understanding across all Adobe Creative Suite applications. I strive to pursue an ongoing education with new workflow methods within the software as the technology changes to maximize efficiency through intentional execution of brainstorming concepts into a final digital product. The breadth of my capabilities as an independent contractor extends itself across a diversified array of design principles and tasks allowing me to meet the scalable needs of my clients.
